Pioneer SE-NC31C-K noise cancelling earbud stereo headphones

Earphones used to be just that – a device, or rather, peripheral that transferred audio tracks from a music device to your ears. It didn’t matter if you could still hear the roar of the engine on the outside, or your wife’s incessant nagging – the point is, you never had been able to experience something like this before, where whatever music you’re listening to never sounded so close to you before! Boy, how far has technology come that these days, having noise cancellation technology in your pair of stereo headphones should be the norm rather than the exception, and Pioneer has delved into this particular category with their latest release known as the Pioneer SE-NC31C-K noise cancelling earbud stereo headphones. As its name suggests, this model was specially designed for noise cancellation of up to 90% (measured at 300hz), allowing you to hear more of what you’re supposed to listen to. The SE-NC31C-K is capable of actively monitoring the nearby s...

    AQ Wireless Outdoor Speakers

Now that the bitter cold of winter is done and over with for those living in the northern hemisphere, it is time to get out and play. Of course, for folks who do not live in apartments but rather, on landed property, it makes perfect sense to spend your time outdoors since you will be able to bask under the sun, sipping on a pina colada and reading your favorite book. Of course, having some music in the background is also part of the appeal, so getting a good pair of speakers is always worth the investment. Why not settle for the AQ Wireless Outdoor Speakers instead? Sure, it might come in only black or white shades (no doubt the former will be a whole lot easier to maintain due to its dark color, that you need not clean it so often), but either way, the £89.99 speakers are waterproof to withstand those rainy days, and are more than capable of unleashing your favorite tunes within a 100 meter radius from its source (30 to 40 meters through walls and ceilings) without missing a beat. ...

Mad Catz announces TRITTON AX Pro headset for the Xbox 360 and PS3

Mad Catz, a company that carries plenty of gaming accessories across different platforms, has just announced the new TRITTON AX Pro headset that will make its way towards the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. After all, Mad Catz knows just how important it is to have the right kind of headset if you want to pick up all the noise and sound a game has to offer while you maximize your gaming experience. With the TRITTON AX Pro, it does not matter whether you are a serious gamer or committed audio connoisseur – it is able to offer a truly authentic Dolby Digital 5.1 audio experience. Being different compared to Dolby Headphone technology, the AX Pro will use at least 8 precision-balanced speakers (with a quartet located within each ear cup) that will accurately reproduce 5.1 surround sound without the need for the common cop out move of emulating or simulating an audio experience. Within individual ear cups, the AX Pro will house a front speaker, a center speaker, a rear speaker and a sub...

The YUBE – iPhone Exercise App Really Takes You Away

The YUBE is an augmented reality application for stationary exercise, you’ve seen it before, someone pedaling away on a stationary bike and watching the world seemingly pass by on a TV screen. It uses an iPhone or iPod Touch to synchronize the user’s body motion to travel through an actual video, so you can travel the world without ever leaving the gym. The YUBE plays video (scenic travel or even competitive racing) to the speed of your actual exercise. The iPhone or iPod Touch is attached to your arm (for walking or running) or leg (for biking) and then the application senses your body speed and uses that to control the speed of the video. The faster you go the faster you go through the video. Imagine yourself tearing through the streets of Paris or along the scenic shorelines of Santa Barbara. For me I think it would be better if someone were chasing me, with weapons, or better still if we could have virtual exercise instead, you know, where I could repose on the couch and b...
