    Genius MousePen M508W unveiled

Genius has released their MousePen M508W for those living in North America – yes, that means the US as well as Canada. This is a 5″ x 8″ wireless graphic-design tablet which will connect to a notebook or desktop through a USB receiver, working over the 2.4GHz wireless technology spectrum. Of course, with that connection, you are able to move around without any interference, and Genius intends to target the M508W at art teachers, students and graphic-design professionals, offering them wireless freedom to paint, draw, write, and edit. Sporting a high-performance stylus that is tilt sensitive ±60 degrees and comes with 1024 pressure levels (the latter is normal), it is a snap to make the right brush strokes, whether they are meant to be thicker or thinner, as it all depends on how hard the stylus is pressed. Graphic-design professionals will also find that the MousePen M508W will offer one a similar experience as that of using paint and canvas. Since it is called a Mo...

Mini Vortex creates phenomenon in front of you

If you happen to love all things X-Men, and are absolutely head over heels whenever Storm shows up, then you might wish to gift her this – the Mini Vortex. The name itself will explain everything, as it is actually a small sized tornado that will rage within the lamp’s ‘ecosystem’, where your eyes will also be mesmerized by all the different colors of red, blue and green alternating for that added touch of variety. Of course, for £19.99 a pop, this would make for a pretty interesting piece of conversation in your living room whenever you host a social event, where it is also capable of functioning as its own bedside lamp, providing a soothing environment that is perfect for sleeping after a hard night of partying. A silent pump mechanism in the base will create the tiny vortex within, so it won’t tear up your living room by accident. Share ...

  • Fine Facial Hair Remover

    Fine Facial Hair Remover

This one is for the ladies – especially those who have plenty of social functions to attend to all year round. After all, even if you’re dressed to the nine with baubles hanging around your neck that will put even the Queen of England to shame, all those will amount to nought if you happen to have some facial hair hanging around in an unwanted manner. Here’s where the Fine Facial Hair Remover is able to help, and as its name suggests, this device will go all out in removing those fine, hard-to-reach facial hairs which are survivors of traditional waxing or tweezing methods. The unit comes with a rotating coil that will zap away short, fine hair at the root, preventing ingrown hairs and leaving skin smooth for up to six weeks. This is a hypoallergenic coil, so no worries about breaking out in a bad case of pimples after that. Powered by a couple of AAA batteries, the Fine Facial Hair Remover can be yours for $39.95. • Neutral Power Drill combines screwdriver, laser level, and stud finder in one

Neutral Power Drill combines screwdriver, laser level, and stud finder in one

I am definitely in need of a new electronic screwdriver, as this old Wal-Mart one seems to have out-lasted its short life. If I waited long enough, perhaps this Neutral Power Drill designed by Tim Bennett will become a reality. Not only is it an electronic screwdriver, but it also includes a stud finder and a laser level. I believe that the laser level is found in the small black rectangle located just below the screwdriver bit. I have honestly never used a laser level before, so I wouldn’t know too much about that, which is the same as the stud finder. This screwdriver thing works by a slide back head. I would imagine that if you knew what you are doing, you can find the stud, set up a level place to put a screw, and then put it in. As you can probably tell from my last two paragraphs, I don’t really know what I am doing with a tool like this. Still, I wouldn’t mind having one of these things to make me a handier handyman. The inventor has entered this particular...

Mad Catz announces TRITTON AX Pro headset for the Xbox 360 and PS3

Mad Catz, a company that carries plenty of gaming accessories across different platforms, has just announced the new TRITTON AX Pro headset that will make its way towards the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. After all, Mad Catz knows just how important it is to have the right kind of headset if you want to pick up all the noise and sound a game has to offer while you maximize your gaming experience. With the TRITTON AX Pro, it does not matter whether you are a serious gamer or committed audio connoisseur – it is able to offer a truly authentic Dolby Digital 5.1 audio experience. Being different compared to Dolby Headphone technology, the AX Pro will use at least 8 precision-balanced speakers (with a quartet located within each ear cup) that will accurately reproduce 5.1 surround sound without the need for the common cop out move of emulating or simulating an audio experience. Within individual ear cups, the AX Pro will house a front speaker, a center speaker, a rear speaker and a sub...

  • Griffin Powerjolt Micro for iPad

    Griffin Powerjolt Micro for iPad

Own an iPad and do a whole lot of traveling on the road? Well, we do know that the iPad (as well as the iPad 2) sports some pretty legendary battery life, but that doesn’t mean it is able to go on forever. No sir, even these magical tablets need some juice once in a while, and this is where the Griffin Powerjolt Micro for iPad comes in. Most of us use the cigarette lighter port in the car for something else, and plugging in a charger is more often than not the main purpose. The same applies for this nifty little gizmo, where it will turn the same cigarette lighter outlet into a more useful USB port, which carries enough voltage to charge your iPad, iPhone and iPod. Oh yeah, before you think that this is some Apple-centric blog, fret not as it can also handle other USB-compatible devices as well. With the Griffin Powerjolt Micro for iPad in your car, you can be sure that you will never have to stop your Angry Birds session simply because your iPad is out of juice – as long...
